We went to visit this 12 year old conservatory just outside Lewes, East Sussex. The customer wanted to get rid of all the old blinds as most of them had broken and looked unsightly. After looking at the position of the conservatory on the property and working out how much the roof was in direct sunlight we advised that it would not need the strongest solar window film but a lighter version Hanita R35.
When we arrived at the job the first thing was to remove all of the old blinds and thoroughly clean down the frames before installation, we carry the best cleaning solutions and chemicals in the business and can get your conservatory looking as good as new. Once this had been done it was time to clean the glass ready for installation, we use triumph scraper blades and scrapers to make sure any debris or paint is removed before the film is installed. Once the glass is prepared, we then cut the film to size ready to be installed, this goes straight from our cutting machine onto the glass to make sure of a clean application. We then put mastic in all the holes left by the blinds to make sure we do not compromise the framework.
Once we had finished the customer loved the clean and modern look the film had given. It really opened up the space and made it user friendly again by regulating the heat and glare coming through the roof.
